Founded by Marysol Imler, RN, Solymar Med Spa is led by over 20 years of critical care and trauma nursing experience. Marysol began her nursing career in 2004 after earning her RN from Austin Community College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Her clinical background brings an unmatched level of safety, anatomical expertise, and attention to detail to every aesthetic treatment.
Nearly a decade ago, Marysol transitioned into aesthetics after being inspired by friends and colleagues seeking confidence through subtle, natural enhancement. She is certified in Advanced Injectables and received extensive hands-on training working side-by-side with a world-renowned plastic surgeon—where precision, facial harmony, and patient safety were the standard.
A proud native San Antonian and Clark High School graduate, Marysol is deeply connected to the community she serves. Solymar Med Spa was created to offer more than treatments—it’s a space where clients feel seen, supported, and at ease. Outside of the clinic, Marysol is a devoted wife, mother of two, and dog mom to two lovable pups. She enjoys dancing, action movies, and the occasional (and humbling) round of golf.

With over 10 years of experience in advanced skincare and client education, I am a licensed esthetician and certified laser technician passionate about delivering results-driven, customized treatments. My expertise includes RF microneedling, Hydrafacial, laser rejuvenation, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and HIFU, allowing me to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique skin goals.
I pride myself on combining clinical knowledge with a thoughtful, consult-based approach to ensure safe, effective, and transformative outcomes. Previously, I had the privilege of serving as an Esthetics Educator, where I trained and mentored future professionals in advanced techniques, consultation skills, and industry best practices.

With more than two decades of experience across diverse roles in the medical field, my lifelong passion has always been supporting individuals in their times of need. I began my career as a surgical tech and first assist in the Labor & Delivery OR, where I spent 13 years serving mothers and families during some of their most meaningful moments.
My love for education and continuous growth led me to earn my Esthetics license, where I gained experience as a Medical Aesthetician before expanding my expertise into obtaining my Nutrition Certification. That journey ultimately inspired my latest accomplishment as a credentialed Peptide Integrated Medication Therapy Specialist.
Today, I’m dedicated to empowering clients through balanced nutrition and thoughtful, integrated medication therapy. My goal is to educate, guide, and inspire so you can live your healthiest, most vibrant life.
Outside of my work, I’m blessed with three wonderful children and one very mischievous Bichon who keeps our home lively. I enjoy serving with my church, exploring new restaurants, and soaking up the sun on the beach whenever I can.

As a family physician in San Antonio for over 15 years, I have experience navigating a rapidly evolving and often complex medical world. I believe that our lives are lived better when we strive to be physically and emotionally strong and share the blessings of good health and fortune with those we love.
In my practice, MDVIP, located in the Alamo Heights area, I help my patients on their health journey to develop a deep understanding of their health. This understanding can come from forging a bond with a doctor who is willing to listen, understand, and who can leverage innovative technology and scientific understanding to better treat and prevent disease. Harnessing the power of earlier detection with the aid of advanced screenings, the MDVIP model helps us work toward this goal. No matter where you are on your journey to better health, I am committed to providing you with compassionate personalized care and helping you better achieve your health goals.
